A much anticipated and needed season-first rain storm is coming to Southern Cal. In some fire areas people are putting down sand bags to prevent flood damage. Rain always serves as a natural fertilizer to a garden, besides it kills some of the ants, they have been a right royal pain to deal with organically. All the plants seem to do so well after a big rainfall, they all seem to come more alive and be perkier. This area's weather has been persistently overcast of late, the low lighting conditions and lack of sun makes it hard to photograph anything.
Now that I've taken a lot of pictures of my garden, I realize I need to learn how to improve my control of a variety of different photographic parameters. Because of this I've ordered some books from Amazon about photography (close-up, low lighting, etc..).
No garden pictures today but instead is a picture of a horseless carriage rear end that was photographed at a recent concourse event.

And here is a picture of my favorite bird, a DeLorean car, the type that doesn't come to visit my garden often.
