Praying Mantis

This morning I was looking for a male and female cucumber to take pictures for my blog. I want to show that in absence of bees in the fall, one can still have cucumber. I came upon this praying mantis by surprise, only because I was focusing on taking the female cucumber, but switched to focus on the praying mantis instead. Do you see it? Picture of the male cucumber flower. To fertilize it, rub the female cucumber flower with the male cucumber flower and voila, the female cucumber will grow to its full size.
