Pink Dianthus - Dianthus Dulce

This morning it was 61 degrees temperature outside in Southern Cal. I cleaned up the last melon bed and made preparations for the 4th bed of peas and also ordered more peas from RHShummways.

I then couldn't help but notice a beautiful clump of pink diathuses coming from a seed sown last year. This color is unusual for Dianthus. Fall weather makes the color more vivid.

This snapdragon is a periennal that is coming back. This is also grown from seed.

And, these French marigolds have a nice light yellow hue and not the usual orange.

Finally, I discovered one more cucumber lurking at the back of a plant that I plan to remove this weekend. I guess I can wait a little bit longer.
