Fava Bean
It's a nice and sunny morning. The temperature is about mid 80s middle of the afternoon. I went outside this morning and picked up some lettuce for dinner and some red Malabar spinach, Malabar spinach is also known as Basella_alba.
I live near the coast in SoCal and I have been gardening organically for nearly 20 years. Recently, I expanded my effort to vermi compost, where just about everything goes into my worm bins. I love the idea of living in a farm but for now, this is where it is, a tiny urban plot. Feeding my family from a tiny plot of land has been my goal for the last 10 years, besides, fresh picked fruit & vegetables always taste so much better than anything bought from a supermarket.
