Capsicum - aka Peppers

I did a lot of yard cleaning up this morning, -I removed melon plants and some cucumber plants. I have one cucumber plant left that I will remove after picking the last two that are still on the vine. I removed all of the old tomato plants in an old bed near a wall except for Marianne's Peace tomato. It has one fruit left and a few baby ones. I've heard this is the best tasting tomato so I have to keep this plant until I get to taste it.

Here is a picture of my Marianne's Peace tomato.

However, when it comes to hot peppers, for Southern California they are considered perennial, i.e. don't remove them, they will come back. Here are pictures of two different types of hot peppers that I planted last year.

The nutritional value of the hot peppers are outstanding especially the inflammation factor, apparently good for people with arthritis.

I put these plants behind my outdoor garden furniture. I considered a perennial bed with rhubarb, hot peppers and other low growing plants.
