Success!
This year has been a successful year, an abundance of tomatoes some are over a pound and a lot of melons. I have both type of melons in my garden: Charentais and Ambrosia.
Savor type Charentais melon. Ambrosia Big beautiful love apples(I don't have a clue what type) Succulent strawberries
I live near the coast in SoCal and I have been gardening organically for nearly 20 years. Recently, I expanded my effort to vermi compost, where just about everything goes into my worm bins. I love the idea of living in a farm but for now, this is where it is, a tiny urban plot. Feeding my family from a tiny plot of land has been my goal for the last 10 years, besides, fresh picked fruit & vegetables always taste so much better than anything bought from a supermarket.
