Pest or pet?

Recently, I discovered there was a small animal in my garden. It could have been a small mouse or a rabbit. Whatever it was, it seemed to run very fast when it heard my footsteps. So I ordered a small trap from Amazon and guess what was caught?

A small cottontail! Isn't he/she cute enough to be a pet?


But pea season planting is coming and I know my peas won't last with it being in my garden. So my husband took it in his Ford Explorer to a place that is about a mile away and let it go.


It ran out so fast that he did not get a chance to take a picture of it as it went out.
